Tonic Ball is a concert benefit for Second Helpings on Friday, Nov. 17, 7pm, celebrating the music of Simon & Garfunkel, James Brown, Dolly Parton, The Cure & Wilco across FIVE music venues in Fountain Square. And did we mention this event is SOLD OUT? It’s the coolest night in Indy, and we are your last chance for tickets!
Bring in 5lbs or MORE of pasta (macaroni preferred) to Marigold between NOW and Friday, November 10, and you will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of tickets!
We will let you enter our drawing once for EVERY 5lbs of pasta you bring –> so if you bring in 20lbs of pasta, you can enter 4 times, etc, etc! All pasta and proceeds of Tonic Ball benefit Second Helpings.
Ticket drawing takes place Friday, November 10 at close (6pm)! Marigold has 2 sets of 2 tickets to give away this year – meaning 2 winners! Wahoo!
Why we LOVE Second Helpings:
Each day, Second Helpings volunteers and staff rescue prepared and perishable food from wholesalers, retailers, and restaurants — preventing unnecessary waste. That rescued food is used to create 4,000 hot, nutritious meals each day that are distributed to over 85 social service agencies that feed people in need.
Why we LOVE Tonic Indy:
Tonic Ball, presented by Eskenazi Health (on Friday, November 17, 7pm in Fountain Square), is a celebration of local music. It’s a night of fun and excitement. And it’s all for a good cause. Each year we pick three to five iconic bands and/or musicians, ask some of our favorite local performers to cover a few of their songs, sell tickets to the show, and give all the proceeds to our favorite charity: Second Helpings. That’s Tonic Ball in a nutshell.
This year’s bands include Wilco, James Brown, Simon & Garfunkle, The Cure, & Dolly Parton! Tonic takes place each year on the Friday before Thanksgiving at five Fountain Square venues: Radio Radio, Fountain Square Theatre, White Rabbit Cabaret, The Hi-Fi, and Pioneer.
