Yes we know technically Juneteenth is on Monday, June 19! But we'll be able to GIVE BACK EVEN MORE $ on a bustling Saturday in our store like June 17!
Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the U.S. commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Deriving its name from combining "June" and "nineteenth", it is celebrated on the anniversary of the order, issued by Major General Gordon Granger on June 19, 1865, proclaiming freedom for slaves in Texas.

As an architect, I take pride in creating elegant timeless spaces for clients to build beautiful lives in. When I am not working on residences or on site, you can find me in my home studio working with metal and designing one of a kind pieces.
Jewelry, to me, symbolizes life in all its beauty and imperfections, where different elements work carefully together to create a beautiful and unique whole. I took my first metal-smithing class, back in 2006, simply hoping to make friends after moving overseas to Indianapolis, and through this, I not only found a strong artistic community here but also fell in love with the art of jewelry design. I soon realized that my architectural design skills come in handy while creating my jewelry: they help me see my designs as a kind of micro-architecture. I want my designs to reflect life – our interconnectedness, our struggle for balance, and our goals for comfort and simplicity.
I am an Indiana Artisan and I have received several awards for my designs including the Rio Grande award for Fine Jewelry in 2013, and the Best of Jewelry award in 2014 from the Indianapolis Art enter.
I believe the right piece of jewelry is like a talisman that empowers your spirit and gives you strength and joy. It should be a reflection of your individuality and make you happy when you wear it. Creating a piece that helps you feel this way allows me to combine my love of making jewelry with my passion for empowering women to live their best lives.
The Broad Ripple Art Walk is a self-guided tour around the neighborhood featuring galleries, boutiques, restaurants, offices, and shops, each hosting their own unique art exhibit or live music. See the map for all locations or CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS!
