We are donating 10% of Sales on Saturday, June 17 to Center of Wellness for Urban Women (CWUW) in honor of Juneteenth.

Yes we know technically Juneteenth is on Monday, June 19! But we'll be able to GIVE BACK EVEN MORE $ on a bustling Saturday in our store like June 17!

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the U.S. commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Deriving its name from combining "June" and "nineteenth", it is celebrated on the anniversary of the order, issued by Major General Gordon Granger on June 19, 1865, proclaiming freedom for slaves in Texas.

About CWUW:

CWUW is an Indianapolis non-profit organization providing health promotion, resources, and support to women and families in our city. 

Their goal is to empower women and their families living in urban communities to take action in their health and well-being. CWUW promotes 7 dimensions of Wellness: physical, emotional, spiritual, environmental, occupational, social, and intellectual wellness. By offering both traditional and alternative therapies and programs, CWUW builds social capital, community, and every aspect of health.
